Greetings!
It is always a beautiful thing to have friends and family to share with you in all of
your hopes and dreams. As I began to type this letter, a feeling of gratitude swept
over me as I thought about how the Lord has blessed me to know so many
wonderful people. There are many people in the life that have never known what it
is like to have someone to care about or have someone who cares about him or
her.
At the Splendor of God Ministries, we care about people and we are able to care
about people because God first cared about us. It is in this spirit, that the ministry
was birthed and it is our mission to have this spirit spill out into our nation, but we
need your help.
Currently, our place of worship is in a location that is inaccessible to many people
in our community and is too small to accommodate all of the ministries that the
Lord has given us. In an effort to purchase a larger church, we are having a
NICKLE Drive to generate additional funds needed to purchase the building. Our
goal is to raise $2,000,000.
Your contributions will go towards the purchase of a place of worship that will
serve not only the members of our church, but programs that will enrich the lives
of those within our communities; and we all know that strong communities breed
strong cities, which breed strong nations.
Some have asked the question, “Why only a nickel?” A nickel is five cents; five is
the number of grace. The nickel is symbolic of our prayer’s - We pray that God’s
grace will ever abound on our endeavors as we work diligently to fulfill the
purpose in which he has ordained.
So, whether you contribute a nickel or a million dollars, we are and will always be
grateful and thankful for your support.
Enclosed is information on some of the ministries that the Lord has given to us.
Please take some time out and read over them and pray about them. There are
people out there who we can connect to through these ministries so that they can
come to know that the God that cares for you also care for them too.
